We love shooting photographers weddings. They just get it – the light, the colors, the slowness of the day. Kandice and Fed reached out to us late last year and we met them for a very spontaneous engagement shoot in the snow. We knew then that their wedding day would be full of meaningful moments and a lot of joy. But what surprised us the most was something that we’re NEVER seen during a ceremony before!
Their ceremony was outside under darkening rain clouds (giving the most beautiful light!). Right after Kandice walked down the aisle, her and Fed began singing a worship song, their voices blending together perfectly. They led their family and friends, beginning their ceremony (and marriage) centered on Jesus. We have never seen a bride and groom lead worship on their wedding day like this, and it was unbelievably moving. You can see a short video clip on our Instagram here.
She wore a silk slip dress and lace topper from BHLDN. The bridesmaids dresses were from Zara but are discontinued and sold out, sadly. Her jewellery was from Anthropologie and her gorgeous mustard heels from Madewell (this girl had style!).
